Description

Show us the evidence! Easy to say - hard to do.

This webinar will introduce techniques to find medical or health research using the Medline database. It will start with basic techniques to find relevant literature. For some people this may be enough.

It will then go onto to explore more advanced techniques for more difficult topics, or for people doing to do a deeper dive into the literature.

How far you go is up to you!

It will include: using subject headings, truncation, proximity searching and other database functionality. It is especially suited to anyone planning to do any type of literature review.

Note: staff of Victorian Mental Health Services have access to Medline via the Health Sciences Library. Membership of the library is needed to access Medline.
