Self-directed online training

Event description

Current focus in mental health emphasises work within an evidenced-based framework (Killackey et al., 2008). Evidenced-based practice (EBP) is more than providing intervention supported by the most rigorous research. Working within an evidenced-based framework challenged mental health workers to develop a style of thinking and questioning allowing them to reflect on their own practice and service delivery. This topic explores the practical steps a mental health professional can take to work towards becoming an evidence-based practitioner.
