Description
This introductory workshop is designed to guide you, the clinical supervisee, through the theoretical and practical fundamentals of clinical supervision. We will explore the key roles and responsibilities of the clinical supervisee, clinical supervisor and the organisation based on the “5 Principles for effective supervision” as outlined in “Clinical supervision for mental health nurses - A framework for Victoria (2018)”. You will be guided through a range of clinical supervision definitions, models and formats as well as the critical importance of the clinical supervision relationship. Practical considerations from choosing a clinical supervisor, to setting up clinical supervision, developing reflective practice skills and evaluation processes together with clinical supervision resources for nurses and midwives are addressed.Trainers
